MANAGING MEDIATION IN THE WORKPLACE
Everything an impartial facilitator needs to know to resolve conflict and build resolution action plans
Course Outline
Over two days participants will explore and gain an understanding of the following:
- The types of cases and complaints suitable for mediation
- The mediation process
- Conducting appropriate preliminary meetings, the mediation and private sessions with participants
- Essential mediator skills and knowledge
- Skills to provide and develop appropriate documentation prior to and post a mediation process
- Managing mediation outcomes
This course is designed for Managers and HR Practitioners who are required to mediate as part of their workplace duties. Attendance at this course is also applicable to Grievance Officers and Return to Work Coordinators in order to gain a better understanding of this informal resolution process.

Qualification Attained: Certificate of Attendance
Cost: $1170.00 plus GST per person
(Please Note: For a private tailored program with less than or greater than three (3) participants - please contact us for pricing).
Cancellation Policy for a publicly scheduled course: Participants who have registered to attend a publicly scheduled training session are able to transfer their registration to another person within their Company up until 48 hours prior to the commencement of their scheduled attendance. Please note that no refunds are applicable to our training services.
Cancellation Policy for a tailored program: Within 7 days of booking a training program, a 50% deposit is required. An early cancellation would attract a fee equivalent to the amount of the deposit. Cancellation within 14 calendar days of the scheduled Session will incur a 100% cancellation fee. However, given a minimum of 2 weeks notice, a program may be rescheduled.
